In May we stayed at the Brooks Hotel in Dublin It was a fine hotel but for the price I was expecting more This was the last weekend of a 4 week long trip across Europe and we had stayed at many hotels We stayed in a twin room and it was nice to have 2 separate beds Being in Dublin over the weekend we learned is quite noisy Once the window was closed it did block out a lot of the noise Dublin is quite small so you can walk everywhere There probably isnt much other choice We enjoyed dinner next door at the Hairy Lemon We were able to buy some things drop them off at the hotel and go back shopping without really going out of our way There is a restaurant in the hotel but we didnt try it To get to and from the airport was around 25 euros and takes 30 45 minutes depending on the time of day
