Inside Manchester's Beer Themed Hotel

Now we've all heard a brew dog, but did you know they now have hotels and they've opened the first uk one right here in manchester, they've called it the dog house, which is why I've brought my little mate rudy with me now. I know a couple of things about this place already: it's carbon negative, it's chock, a block full of craft beer and obviously it's dog friendly, but also here's the interesting thing. I've been told, there's a beer fridge in the shower now.

There's a reason for me to check in right now come on rudy, let's go! There's beers, wow rudy! This is nice, the bear dream factory who doesn't want to be in a beer dream factory hey! So you got various different packages here. This is the top dog package. Now what that means? Is you get five liters of beer over there that you can pull yourself on drafts? Have it whenever you want, you get a shower full of beer. You get to go for dinner, that's included for two plus a flight of beers.

Then in the morning you get to have breakfast for two, and also on offer. Is a beer school experience lasting an hour? I mean that is a lot of beer. It's the little touches.

I like the attention to detail like look at the guitar on the wall there, just in case you want to come back after a night out and serenade someone there's a fully stocked bar in there. There's vodka gin red wine there's a little tuck shop. What more could you want and for your dog we've got a lovely dog bed and rudy got some doggie treats doggy treats. This is probably my favorite thing, though you get a record player in the room.

All the albums supplied by manchester's piccadilly records and just all manchester band, so we've got elbow. We've got badly drawn boy, we've got the fall. My favorite jane weaver should pop some jane weaver on no.

We can't afford the copyright on this. We'll just put some uh royaltyfree stuff in the edit you're allowed to drink in the shower. It's finally legitimized.

They actively encourage it usually get in trouble for things like this and just while I'm thinking on the tip of sustainability. If you reuse your towel, you get a free beer at the bar, come on, that's all right and it and I'm ready for a new one. Oh sorry, room service. I don't want you to think that this is just all about the booze, though oh no just via the telly.

You can get yourself room service, we're fully connected and via whatsapp. You have access to 24 hour sausage, hot dogs, 24 hour hot dogs. I did have a hotel with uh 24hour sausage once but that's another story for another day now.

Let's talk about the food, shall we in the dog house, the breakfast and the brunch? Absolutely incredible but, as I mentioned earlier, I'm on the top dog package, which means I get my flight of beer. I also get a meal for two now I've gone for the burger and, of course, I've gone for the chicken wings, because chicken wings rudy are always good. So let's go in yeah have a little dip. Oh, my god have a look at that now by the way come on a wednesday you can have all you can eat wing wise for a tenner, and that includes seitan, cauliflower and, of course, chicken which I'm going to get involved in our roots.

Have a bit of that unreal! I've got the three things you want from a chicken wing, sauce meat and heat perfect. Now, if you don't mind, I want to eat this in peace. Come on off your pot, no mom, it's not all about the hotel and the bar here.

It's also about work space. So if you're a freelancer for seven quid, you can come here work all day, free wifi, unlimited tea and coffee. You get a free pint of punk, ipa says you know what work okay, so this is the roof terrace typically manchester is in.

It looks like it's going to piss it down any minute, but I'm not here for the weather, I'm here to try the tacos. Now it turns out that this roof terrace has its own kitchen. It's called the taco hut and it's obviously where you pick up tacos, that's exactly what I have done now. This is a dorados.

It's got biria beef, which is always a winner, beef gravy to dip it in, but listen to this, the taco itself. Oh, that is soft. That's pure cheese, 100, pure cheese love a little dip. Oh my god, hello.

That is absolutely unreal. They also do a beer slush. What more could you want I'll tell you, what more you could want, a two for one offer: every tuesday buy one taco get one free, I'm coming back again. Look at this amazing place.

Great food, great drinks, hotel rooms are incredible. Oh, I remember I mentioned sustainability earlier, have a look at this 26 000 plants on that live wall, helping to make manchester a greener place and you'd have to get a car or a taxi. This is good for the environment.

They provide these free, brumpton bicycles, which I'm told I'm going to enjoy riding home come on rudy. Let's come go.
